We Need Your Support!
The Museum has far out-grown its current space and much of the collection has to be in storage elsewhere. Further exacerbating the problem, the leaky, drafty old Port Hope town sheds, where the Museum is currently located, are visually unimpressive and must be demolished in two years time.
The Museum needs a new home.
To do this, the Museum needs the support of fire fighters and buffs from across the country. With the proposed expansion into a renovated historic industrial building, the Canadian Fire Fighters Museum will be able to tell the story of fire fighting in Canada in a manner that the subject so richly deserves. There will be an opportunity to display not only land-based fire fighting equipment but fire fighting aircraft and watercraft as well – and in a facility that can be open 365 days a year in all kinds of weather.
Will you help build Canada's National Fire Fighting Museum to the level it deserves? Help us to preserve the fire fighting heritage of Canada. It is through grants, donations, and support from people like yourself that we keep the museum operating. Please make a donation. Donations can easily be made using PayPal (see below).
Thank You from the Canadian Fire Fighters Museum!
