Get Involved - Become a Member or be a Volunteer!

The Canadian Firefighters Museum is a volunteer run organization and could use your help. If you would like to get involved, you can do it in four ways:

Become a "Friend" of the Museum by joining. Individual memberships are $20. Family memberships are $40. Friends of the Museum receive a newsletter twice yearly and a discount on the musuem's gift shop items. You'll also be invited to join and take part in special events at the Museum.   Download the application form (Acrobat PDF document) and become a member today! This information can be mailed or faxed to us. All information received will be kept confidential.
Donate your time, become a Museum volunteer. We need help to run the museum from people like you. There's a great diversity of things to be done at the Museum, let us know how you can help us. We need people to help us in finance, fundraising, newsletter, public relations, and volunteer management as well as general duties around the premises. Your help will be greatly appreciated and we promise you a rewarding and fun experience. Why not contact us now?
Donate artifacts. We are always on the lookout for artifacts of significance to fill out the Museum collections. If you would like to donate, please contact us. Donations of artifacts to the museum with a value over $20.00 will receive a tax receipt.
Make a cash donation. The Canadian Firefighting Museum needs funds to maintain and expand collections and keep the doors open wide. We gratefully accept donations to help develop displays, upgrade facilities, maintain apparatus, and promote our various activities and events. Donations to the museum over $20.00 will receive a tax receipt. We accept cash, cheque, Interac, or major credit cards.
