We were at The Canadian FireFighter Appreciation Day & Charity Fitness Challenge, Saturday, October 8th, in Milton, ON.

People had some fun with our picture board!

The 5 guys pictured above are a team of Milton Town Councillors. From left to right they are: Mike Cluett, Greg Nelson, Rick Malboeuf, Colin Best, & Rick Di Lorenzo. This demonstrates the terrific support the event recieves from Milton. The local FD also extended tremendous support by doing much of the setup for the various physical challenges, sending a team to participate and putting on a demonstration.

This is our 1972 Ford Fire Truck donated to the museum by the Tarbutt Ontario Volunteer Fire Department. We use it for long distance travel to events.
We Attended the Sherbourne Street Chilli Contest and Silent Auction Fundraiser, October 15th, 2011
Thanks to Joan Tooke and her neighbours, we had a great time and over $1000 was raised for the museum!

The table was packed with some great items donated for the silent auction!

Auction goers had a great time tasting 10 different batches of Chilli!

Donation from The Toronto Professional Fire Fighters Association
The Toronto Professional Fire Fighters Association (local 3888) presented the museum with a cheque demonstrating their continuing support of the CFFM. Charities committee Chair Mike Ogle (at right) is seen here with museum directors: Ken Burgin, Kelly Morgan McKenzie, Will Lambert and Isabel Fraser and an oversized presentation cheque. The real thing is already in the CFFM bank account! Thank you local 3888!

We were on TV!
The Canadian Fire Fighters Museum went to the Port Hope Fall Fair. That's CTV's Tom Brown, PHFD's Mark Lent and Randie Lambert behind our new photo board!

A Visit from the Red Knights!
The Red Knights Motorcycle Club, composed of fire fighters, were here at the museum and had a great turnout. They had 81 people registered and 62 bikes participated. They had a live band on the front lawn for a short time which drew quite a few people to the museum as well.
