• About the Museum:

  • The Canadian Fire Fighters Museum first opened its doors in 1984.  Since then the Museum has evolved into a national centre for documentation, preservation, education, and celebration of Canadian firefighting heritage and safety awareness.  The Museum has a collection of artifacts that tell the story of the vital role that firefighters have played in the lives of communities across Canada. The Museum strives to represent all Canadian firefighters: professional or volunteer, industrial, military, wildland, and airport.

The collection encompasses equipment of every kind, from all eras and all parts of Canada: antique fire helmets, an amazing array of fire hydrants, fire-related signage, safety equipment, toys, and of course our vintage fire trucks.
